The Intelligent LCD Series CP1000AVRLCD UPS, designed for mid- to high-end computer systems, features dynamic line conditioning and an Intelligent LCD diagnostic display. Real-time system vitals can be viewed using this Crystal-Blue display. The unit can be conveniently placed in a workstation cabinet, or directly on a desktop. The CP1000AVRLCD guards against surges/spikes, and offers battery backup in the event of brownouts, or total power loss. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) ensures that all your electronics are receiving clean power and maintains a safe voltage level. PowerPanel PE ¿ Management Software automatically saves and closes open files and then shuts down the computer system in an intelligent and orderly manner. The Intelligent LCD Series is also equipped with full dataline protection: RJ11/RJ45 (phone, fax, Ethernet, network, DSL) and RG-6 coax (DSS, cable modem, satellite, cable TV). ¿Surge-Only¿ outlets are perfect for the addition of peripherals such as monitors, printers, scanners, iPods, or CD/DVD players. This AVR has already paid for itself. Had a major power bump and then an outage.I had 19 minutes to shut down, but the power came back on in about 3 minutes.The software interface is great. It gives you all the performance attributes of the AVR and keeps a record.It's a great product and would recommend it to everyone.
Great little battery back up and power supply. Can't beat it for the price. Comparable in features to my Tripp-Lite units.
So far, so good. I like the readouts and size and shape of the product. Until we have a power failure (rural power co, so it happens), I can't say it performs as expected, shutting down the computer in an orderly fashion, no matter what time it is.
This is a great little UPS.I'm very happy that it has Linux support via the USB port. I downloaded an rpm package from the CyberPower web site, and the daemon runs well on a CentOS 5 32-bit server. The auto-shutdown is not enabled by default, so make sure to edit the scripts installed with the package to enable alerts and auto-shutdown. A command-line interface allows you to retrieve information about the UPS state.I have not had a power failure yet, nor have I tested by pulling out the plug, so I can't comment on that (which is why I limited my star rating to 4).
Bought two CP1000 last month. Last night the power went out for 1 hr 45 min.The one ups keep my main computer up for 35 min and would have lasted longer if I woul have turned off the 60 W light that was on it. The other keeped a second computer (No monitor), phone system and internet hub running the whole time.
